- In the fall, this thorny tree produces lumpy, medium-sized, bright yellow to orange fruits.
- Uniquely fragrant rind and highly prized for its juice in Asian cuisine and is used similar to lemon zest.
- Originated in China and is thought to be a hybrid between Ichang papeda and Satsuma mandarin.
